Job description:
I'm looking for a studio assistant to join gold + ivy! This role can be full-time or part-time depending on experience and availability, with responsibilities spanning candle + room spray production, order fulfillment, inventory, and day-to-day warehouse upkeep.
Because we're a small, hands-on business, no two days look exactly the same. Some days may be spent pouring candles, while others are focused on packing orders, prepping inventory, organizing the studio, or getting ahead on production.
This is an independent role, and you'll often spend time working in the studio on your own. I'm looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and proactive. Someone who can learn our processes, manage their workload, and notice what needs to be done without always waiting for direction.
No candle experience is required as I'll teach you everything! More than anything, I'm looking for someone who genuinely wants to be part of a small business, is happy to wear different hats, and takes pride in the work they do.

Duties + responsibilities:

Candle + room spray production, from prepping and pouring to finishing and packaging

Packing and fulfilling online + wholesale orders

Managing stock levels + keeping inventory organized

General warehouse upkeep, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking

Occasionally helping walk-in customers shop + ringing up purchases

Jumping in on other studio tasks as needed
Requirements + desired skills:

Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently

Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work

Able to lift up to 50 lbs + be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day

Comfortable with basic math (calculator usage is fine!)

Previous small business, production, fulfillment, or other independent work experience is a plus
A quick note about the studio: You'll be working in a fully functioning (and very fragrant!) candle studio, so this position may not be a good fit for anyone with fragrance sensitivities.
