Products
What’s the difference between the mini, standard, and large candles?
Mini (3.5 oz) — perfect for trying a new scent, small rooms, guest baths, or travel. Burn time: 20–25 hours
Standard (7.5 oz) — our most popular size for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, nightstands—basically everywhere. Burn time: 40–50 hours
Large (12.5 oz) — double-wicked, strongest scent throw, and best for open spaces. Burn time: 70–80 hours
How long does the scent last?
CANDLES:
Our candles are made with 100% soy wax and clean fragrance oils, so they’re designed to give you that cozy, lived-in scent without ever feeling harsh or overpowering.
Soy burns slow + steady, and because we don’t use heavy chemicals or synthetic boosters, your space gets a soft, welcoming scent that still fills the room beautifully.
ROOM SPRAYS:
Our room sprays are much more concentrated and give an instant hit of fragrance. Each bottle has about 800 sprays, and depending on where you use it, the scent can last anywhere from a few hours to a full day or more. We hear from customers all the time that it lasts the longest on linens, pillows, curtains, and rugs, where the fibers naturally hold onto scent.
Both products are intentionally made to scent your space in a clean, gentle, cozy way — never overwhelming, always inviting.
Are your products non-toxic?
Absolutely. Keeping our products clean and safe is a huge priority for us. We’re in the studio pouring candles every single day, so we’re not interested in working around toxins, and we’d never expect you to bring them into your home either.
All of our candles and room sprays are made with 100% American-grown soy wax, cotton wicks, and clean, phthalate-free fragrance oils that meet strict IFRA safety standards.
Our oils are Prop-65–free and contain no carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, parabens, or paraffin, and of course never tested on animals.
Everything is intentionally sourced, intentionally blended, and intentionally made. Nothing heavy, nothing toxic, nothing you need to worry about — just clean, safe scents made with care.
What are the benefits of soy wax?
We use 100% American-grown soy wax because it’s cleaner, safer, and simply better for your home. Soy is a natural, renewable, biodegradable resource (not a petroleum byproduct like paraffin), so it burns cooler, cleaner, and much longer.
How do I properly care for my candle?
- Trim your wick to ¼” before every burn (this helps your candle last longer!)
- Let the wax melt fully to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling. Soy has “memory” and will follow that pattern.
- Don’t burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Stop burning when ¼” of wax remains.
How do I use my room spray?
Shake gently, then spray anywhere you want an instant reset — your couch, bedding, bathroom, or the whole room. Patch test near finished wood and on delicate fabrics.
Customs + Wholesale
Do you offer custom products or private label?
We do! Whether you’re dreaming up wedding favors, client gifts, an event scent, or branded candles for your shop, we love creating something unique and special.
Customs include your label design, printing, your chosen scent, and your chosen vessel (or we can source one for you). Most custom projects take minimum 2 weeks, and order minimums start at 24 candles. If you’re on a deadline, let us know as we’ll always try to make it happen.

Do you offer wholesale?
Yes! We love partnering with boutiques, makers, coffee shops, and gift stores. You can shop our full wholesale catalog on Faire, or reach out directly if you prefer working one-on-one with us.
Retailers can request scent samples anytime. We totally get wanting to smell everything first.
Shipping, Returns & Exchanges
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout for both domestic and international orders.
How long does shipping take?
We ship orders within 1–5 business days.
This is our processing time— the time it takes us to pour, pack, and prep your order with care.
Transit time is separate and depends on the carrier you choose at checkout (usually an additional 2–7 business days). During busy seasons like holidays, sales, and Black Friday week, processing may take a little longer.

Why is shipping so expensive?
We don’t add extra handling fees—our shipping rates come directly from USPS/UPS. When we offer “free shipping,” we’re covering those costs for you.
We offer free shipping on U.S. orders $100+.
What is the shipping policy?
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Sometimes carriers aren’t as gentle as we are. If anything arrives broken, email us a photo + your order number and we’ll replace it as quickly as possible.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your products. If you don’t, you can return any unburned, unused item within 2 weeks of receiving your order (U.S. retail orders only). Sale items, seconds, and sample sets are final sale.
Just email us with your info—we’ll take care of the rest.
My order says delivered but it’s not here.
It’s common for carriers to pre-scan packages as delivered. Please wait 24 hours, and check around your home and with neighboring buildings. Still missing? Let us know and we’ll help track it down.

Can I edit or cancel my order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, email us ASAP at hello@goldandivy and we’ll try to catch it before it heads out the door.
Can I shop in person?
Yes! Our warehouse shop is open right now:
Monday - Wednesday: 9:30AM - 5PM
